When designing this engine particular importance was attached to making it compact and lightweight. Coupled with measures intended to optimise friction characteristics, this leads to low fuel consumption and moderate emissions. This engine relinquishes neither its high power output, nor its powerful torque.
This engine is responsive and produces an optimum torque level from low engine speeds. Enhanced consumption, low emissions and good cold-running characteristics also contribute to the engine's excellent efficiency.
