Highlights of the V6 diesel engine.

Common-Rail direct injection via piezo injectors promises precisely-regulated combustion processes. The turbocharger provides a high power output and a high torque already from low engine speeds.

The engine features an alternator management system reduces fuel consumption. In addition, valve control via roller-type cam followers favours low fuel consumption. The standard ECO start/stop function switches the engine off temporarily when the vehicle is stationary.
